Smugglers' Notch Primitive Biathlon 8:00 - 2:00 13th Annual Smugglers' Notch Primitive Biathlon: The Original Primitive Biathlon, using wood-framed snowshoes and traditional-style muzzleloading rifles. Competitors, many of whom will be wearing historically correct period dress, race against the clock and get bonus credit for shooting accuracy. Sponsored by the Vermont Trappers Association and Water 'n' Woods of Morrisville, there is a nominal fee for participation while spectators are admitted free. Held at Sterling Ridge Inn & Log Cabins, Junction Hill Road. Turn off Route 15 1 mile east of Jeffersonville and follow the signs. Snowshoe Weather Walk 2:00 - 3:00 If you can walk, you can snowshoe! A great way to get out and enjoy nature. Hosted by Smugglers' Notch Resort with an emphasis on the vagaries of mountain weather. Main Street Arts Walk 1:00 - 4:00 The Bryan Gallery, Milkroom Gallery, and Visions of Vermont Gallery, all on Main Street in Jeffersonville, are holding a Group Open House. Meet some of the artists and the people behind these wonderful community treasures and discover the diversity of art they display.
