Cambridge, VT March 24, 2015 – Smugglers’ Notch Area Chamber of Commerce (SNACC) and Cambridge Artists and Entrepreneurs (CAE), both local non-profit groups serving the community, have reached an agreement in principle to combine the efforts of their two groups. CAE will now serve as a new committee of the existing Chamber of Commerce.
The CAE directorate will lend their expertise in digital outreach and community engagement to the combined effort; bringing with them the very successful Business Speaker Series, CambridgeVT.com website, and The Cambridge Connection free public Wi-Fi zones. These community leaders will join SNACC as members, and together work to consolidate current programs and membership of both. Details of the arrangement are currently being formalized with final implementation expected at the annual SNACC meeting in May.
