The Poetic Realism of Karen and Jack Winslow are on exhibition in the parlors of the restored Victorian house located at 100 Main Street, and the plein air paintings by Eric Tobin are displayed in the carriage house, Visions of Vermont.

Karen and Jack Winslow have been married for 36 years, and they have been painting side by side for most of the married life. From 1972-1978, they studied apprenticeship-style at the Art Students League of New York with Frank Mason, Robert Brackman and Robert Beverley Hale.

Eric Tobin, on the other hand, having been given his first set of paints at the age of 12 by Thomas R. Curtin, is mostly self-taught. He has had the benefit of being a native of the beautiful area, which has attracted painters of the landscape for over a century. Eric has taken the opportunity to meet and paint with some of the top outdoor painters in New England.

Come on by and take home a real Vision of Vermont.
