Recurring Events

The Smugglers' Notch Area Chamber of Commerce normally meets the third Thursday of the month at 7:00 PM. Check monthly listings for location of the meeting. Prospective members are welcome. Information on the Chamber is available at www.smugnotch.com/MemberInfo.htm.

The Village Tavern Open-Mic Night happens every Tuesday (Dec. - Mar.) starting at 9pm at the Smugglers' Notch Inn on Church Street in Jeffersonville 644-6765 for more information..

The American Legion meets the 3rd. Tues of every month. Social hour at 5:30, pot luck dinner at 6:30 followed by the meeting. All vets are invited to attend.

Bryan Memorial Gallery Annual Small Picture Exhibition: The Bryan's Annual Members Exhibition is open to all artist members of the Bryan Gallery. With the size of the artwork the only specification, each member of the gallery is guaranteed one painting on exhibit.

Bryan Memorial Gallery Barns: The Bryan's annual juried theme show is "Barns", and all artist members are invited to submit paintings for consideration by the jurors. Building on the momentum of 2006's successful "Waterscapes" exhibition, and 2007's "Snowscapes" exhibition, artist are encouraged to work with the imagery of barns from a wide variety of aspects and perspectives.

Smugglers Notch Area Chamber of Commerce HERITAGE WINTERFEST Schedule (all events are Open to the public):
8:00 am 2:00 pm - Primitive Biathlon with period costumes, snowshoes, and muskets. Includes crafts and food. Registration fee for participants, spectators are free.
12:00 pm - 4:00 pm - Sleigh Rides at the Vermont Maple Outlet (conditions
permitting). Free.
2:00 pm - 3:00 pm - Children's Storyhour at the Varnum Library with origami. Free.
4:30 - 6:30 pm - Lasagna Dinner sponsored by the Cambridge Fire Dept. Auxillary. Cambridge Elementary School Cafeteria. There is a reasonable fee for dinner.
5:00 pm - 8:00 pm - Bonfire at Cambridge Elementary School Field.
6:15 pm - 7:30 pm - Our favorite puppeteers, the No String Marionettes will
perform The Treasure Hunt and The Friendly Pirate from Smugglers' Notch
Resort will open the show with a few Chanteys and some RRRful jokes!

8:00 pm - 8:20 pm - Fireworks Finale! Cambridge Elementary School Field.
